Peer and Support Groups

All groups are welcoming, supportive, and safe environments that center the lived experiences of self-identifying lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and non-binary adults. All are expected to follow group rules and norms. Participation is at the discretion of the facilitator.

Our Support Groups are led by professionals who are qualified to provide counseling to a group. Group members have similar experiences and benefit from both the professional counseling and the peer support. Support groups are usually more structured than peer groups and are sometimes limited to a certain number of meetings.

Our Peer Groups are ongoing gatherings of people who have similar experiences. Group members use their own experiences to help each other. The groups are led by volunteers who have experiences similar to the people in the group.
